Scotlands First Ever Psoriasis Charity!
PSALV attained SCO charity status in May 2003 - founded by volunteers who have Psoriasis/Psoriatic arthritis themselves.
Our aims are to support and gather up to date information for sufferers in Scotland, of these debilitating conditions which
still have a low profile in this country, and to raise funds to run an awareness campaign, to inform the public and media
about the problems we face coping on a daily basis, with work, family and social life, when affected by a sore itchy, scaling skin,
and sore joints. Also coping with the time consuming treatments and the ignorant remarks from uninformed people.
Psoriasis-have you suffered discrimination!? at work, school etc?
This is ILLEGAL - under present and new law - to discriminate against people with disability
- which is what psoriasis and psa are!
contact us for further help. - we have many links with msps.
We have medical advisers, but we need funds to achieve our aims - so please give a little thought to helping. Even writing a few letters,
putting up some posters, ideas for raising money.
Perhaps you could ask local companies, in your area, for a donation?
