PSALV IN PARLIAMENT!
With the help of a small "awards for all" lottery grant,PSALV celebrated world psoriasis day, by running a 3 day exhibition for all, in our Scottish parliament on the 25th-27th October.
This was very well received - quite a few of our politicians have the condition in their own famililies.
On 26th-we had a reception/forum discussion, in the evening; with members, health committee MSPS, the depute and shadow health ministers along with dermatologists and other experts. All 129 msps received a card with info regarding world psoriasis day. we also had two very large press ads, to draw attention, with slogans such as:
"No one can catch it, anyone can get it".
"Hi Janice and Margaret
thanks for this message. I am just glad everything was such a success, and there is no doubt your work has resulted in the issue of psoriasis treatment being raised much further up the politician agenda.
