SMC Grant Enbrel Licence
We heard today that SMC have given the go-ahead for the use of Enbrel - a biologic, to be used for severe psa! already some people have their lives changed - who were facing a future totally disabled by psor arthritis - and are "90% better".
Criteria - patient has to have tried 2 dmards-ie. sulphasalazine, and not improved.
But - we are still campaigning - as not all gps are clued up - referring people on quickly PSALV sent in a submission to SMC re this condition -s o we like to think we have helped to get this decision.
